Dr. McKenna is a medical doctor specializing in psychiatry with over 20 years of clinical experience. He has worked across a wide range of settings — including emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric units, partial hospital programs, residential facilities, and outpatient clinics — in Michigan, California, and New York.

That breadth of experience gives Dr. McKenna a deep understanding of depression at every level of severity. As Medical Director of Harbors North, he oversees all clinical operations and treatment protocols, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.

Dr. McKenna's commitment to improving patient outcomes has driven his focus on advanced, evidence-based treatment approaches. He is passionate about making innovative treatments like Spravato and TMS more accessible to patients in Northern Michigan who haven't responded to traditional antidepressants.

Kaitlyn Baldwin is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 18 years of healthcare experience. Her background includes critical care nursing, oncology research, and hands-on experience administering Spravato therapy across multiple treatment centers throughout Michigan.

At Harbors North, Kaitlyn works directly with Dr. McKenna on initial patient assessments — reviewing each new patient's treatment history and determining the best path forward together. She is also part of the clinical team providing TMS and Spravato treatments, supporting continuity of care throughout each patient's journey.

Tara Miller brings 24 years of clinical experience to the Harbors North team. Her background includes extensive critical care experience in hospital settings, which gives her the skills and confidence to manage complex patients and treatment protocols.

At Harbors North, Tara primarily oversees Spravato treatment sessions and TMS brain mapping sessions. Her expertise in medication management and patient assessment — honed through years of hands-on hospital experience — allows her to provide thorough, attentive care to every patient she works with.

Tara earned her Master's degree from Walden University. Patients consistently describe her as warm, knowledgeable, and reassuring — exactly the kind of clinician you want by your side during treatment.
